Keys and move-in packets will be available after 10:00 a.m.
on 8/1/08 for new 2008-2009 tenants. No move-in's earlier than
this date are possible at this time. Also , you are not required to
move in on this date.

| ALL PAYMENTS SHOULD BE PAYABLE TO: Paradigm Properties. Rent is due on the first of every month. Please write your building and apartment number on your check, place it in an envelope, and then place it in the rent drop box located on the first floor of your building. Your first payment will need to be made before receiving your keys. | |
| Utilities | |
| We have made arrangements to have the utilities disconnected from our name on your move-in date. You need to contact them to have them connected in your name starting on your move-in date. If you completed an "Automatic Turn On Agreement" when you signed your lease, your electric, water, and sewage is turned on (if applicable) in your name. For internet, cable, and telephone you need to contact the local companies. To verify what utilities are already turned on at your property, refer to the utility information page. | |
| Keys | |
| You may pick up your keys on the first day of your lease during our normal business hours at our West Lafayette office located at 110 Andrew Place in West Lafayette. You do not need to call ahead to schedule an appointment. | |
| Inspection Sheet | |
|
Please fill out the Move-in Inspection form to report any damages in your apartment. This form will be reviewed at the end of your lease to determine damages and security deposit refunds. Place this sheet in the drop box in your building within 5 days of your move-in date. Please list your phone number on your form, so that we may activate our electronic entry system. |

| Renter's Insurance | |
|
We have insurance on the building. It is your responsibility to protect your personal property against theft, fire, or any other damages. We recommend contacting an insurance company and obtaining renter’s insurance. |

| Smoke Detector | |
| Test your smoke detector. We have replaced the back-up battery in your unit before you moved in. It is your responsibility to maintain the battery during your lease. If it does not work not within the first 5 days of your move-in date, call us immediately and we will replace the battery. | |
| Maintenance | |

Please report all maintenance problems to our office (807-0088) during normal business hours 10:00am-5:00pm. For emergency maintenance during non office hours (no heat, no air conditioning, no water, or leaking water onto the floor), please call 420-1674. |

Grills |
|
|
The Indiana Fire Code does not allow grills to be used on balconies of apartment buildings. Please take your grill outside of your building to use. |

Guest Intercom |
|
|
When your guest use the entry intercom system, you can allow your guest to enter the building by pressing “9” to allow the entry lock to release the door.. |
